How you will make an impact:
Cabrini Health is currently seeking a dedicated Sleep & Respiratory Scientist (Grade 1) to join our dynamic team at the Cabrini Brighton Lung Function laboratory on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical services in lung function testing and evaluation, under the guidance of the Sleep & Respiratory Centre Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of both adult and paediatric patients, particularly as we are home to the only private paediatric sleep clinic in Victoria. We require flexibility for candidates to be available for evenings and night shifts.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing high-quality clinical services in lung function testing and evaluation for both Sleep and Respiratory caseloads.

Contributing to research and teaching activities as required.

Ensuring the effective operations of the Cabrini Brighton Sleep & Respiratory Centre.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.

Maintain the operations in alignment with the Mission, Values, and Vision of Cabrini Health.
About you:
Along with a strong focus on quality patient care, you will also require the following:

Qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.

Strong knowledge and experience in respiratory and sleep testing and evaluation.

Professional and confident manner when dealing with patients.
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Analytical approach to troubleshooting.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in a busy clinical environment.
