Join our dynamic team as a Remote IT Support Specialist (Tier 3) and play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's IT systems run smoothly. Under general supervision, you will provide third-tier IT support to end-users, helping to restore service and identify core problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
- Security Administration: Administer and maintain the security of operating systems.
- Data Recovery: Design, write, and implement backup procedures to restore files or systems.
- Operational Support: Provide support for information systems and peripheral equipment, including servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.
- Maintenance Tasks: Perform recovery procedures, schedule backups, and monitor batch processes.
Essential Functions:
- Recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties and recommend system modifications.
- Meet specified service level standards.
- Escalate complex problems to management and provide information on severe issues.
- Delegate IT support tasks and provide training to junior team members.
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation and training materials.
- Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in global and regional project teams.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the operating environment, tools, and client applications.
- Perform other duties as required, including outside working hours as needed.
- Provide creative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user satisfaction.
- Lead small projects and deliver quality results.
- Provide training to end-users and guidance to less experienced IT staff.
- Run specific reports for upper management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience with PC software (Microsoft operating systems and applications suites, email systems) within a network environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft server, workstation, and networking technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of industry standards for system and network administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
- Intermediate project management exposure.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $57,800.00 - $96,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
