Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Location: Bangalore (on-site)
Key Relationships: Marketing, Support, Engineering, Product.

Job Purpose: 

 As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications. Working closely with the development and operations teams, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure, focusing on automation and optimization.

What you’ll do:

• Define SLIs/SLOs and improve monitoring/alerting systems.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Write post-mortems in collaboration with the customer experience team.
• Analyze system performance, assist with capacity planning, and implement optimizations.
• Conduct tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Resolve infrastructure issues in the runtime environment and delivery pipelines.
• Participate in disaster recovery plan creation and execution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand system needs.

Who you are:

• Holding 4+ years of experience with understanding of cloud design patterns, system performance, and reliability.
• Familiar with Git, scripting languages (Python, Bash), Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms preferably GCP.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions).
• Experience working in product teams at startups or scale-ups
