What’s on offer?

We are looking to build on our core team with the addition of a Site Engineer to work on key projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The successful applicant will be heavily involved in works across multiple telecommunication projects, with the potential for regional work. 

In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Completing take-offs and preparing tender scope of works

  • Preparing RFQ Packages and coordinating site visits with sub-contractors

  • Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the ITP and closed-out to specified requirements

  • Demonstrating knowledge of and ability to apply relevant systems and procedures and develop new procedures/site instructions where necessary

  • Identifying potential claims (variations/EOT) and prepare for submission to Client

  • Cost control, monitoring productivities and forecasting costs to complete.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Telecommunications)

  • Experience in telecommunications or civil construction environment will be highly regarded

  • A strong safety focus

  • Keen to spend time on construction sites and build rapport with self-perform crews

  • Able to travel to regional areas and interstate from time to time

  • Have a current driver’s license

  • Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture
