Our Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team is searching for a hands-on systems and software platform architect to design ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will collaborate with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate across platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams to translate replay and simulation requirements into replay/simulation framework architecture and design 

  • Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay/simulation framework and infrastructure

  • Design, document and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements

  • Engage in exciting, fun and challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems

What we need to see:

  • BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or related engineering field or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years' experience

  • Excellent C and C++ programming skills

  • Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems

  • Solid understanding of QNX, Linux and real-time operating systems

  • Experience in designing and deploying large scale simulation system (open and close loop) for an AV stack

  • Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Knowledge of automotive systems, notably ADAS applications and preferably autonomous driving systems

  • Embedded system, SW/HW cross-domain knowledge

  • Hands-on and work well within a team of system, software and infrastructure engineers, with a significant level of detail orientation and a penchant for data organization and presentation

  • Excellent communication, presentation, social, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

The base salary range is 220,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
