As a Silicon Operator you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to silicon wafer processing and handling in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This includes operating equipment and following established procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient production of silicon components.
As a Silicon Operator, you will be responsible for:

Operating and maintain silicon wafer processing, such as cleaning, etching, and measuring silicon wafers.

Handling and transport silicon wafers using proper protocols and procedures.

Conducting visual inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

Following established operating procedures and work instructions for silicon wafer processing.

Collaborating with team members and engineers to address issues and optimize process performance.

Adhering to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Contributing to process improvement initiatives and provide feedback for enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Staying updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in silicon wafer processing.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience in wafer probing or semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous.

Have familiarity with bonding techniques, alignment procedures, and wafer handling equipment.

Have the ability to work meticulously with attention to detail.
-
Be proficient in using microscopes and other relevant inspection tools.
-
Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Have excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-
Be self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

Have the willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Have good experience in assembly techniques and good attention to detail of components and assemblies.

Have limited prior training and/or experience required.

Be a good timekeeper.

Hold a UK work permit/passport and not require future sponsorship.
Working Pattern
In this role, the working pattern is:
-
Monday – Wednesday: 0630-1530hrs
-
Thursday: 0630-1500hrs
-
Friday: 0630-1200hrs
