If your answer is YES, then we invite you to join us! A thrilling opportunity has opened up for a permanent full-time Ships Agency Operator to become part of our team in Weipa, Queensland.

A Day in the Life of a Ship Agent:

• As a Ship’s Agent, your responsibilities include coordinating vessel operations, from planning arrivals to berthing, loading, and departures in collaboration with all Port Stakeholders.
• You will work independently and as part of a cohesive team, ensuring smooth port calls and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Your role involves continuous learning about business opportunities, port activities, and regulatory updates to stay informed and effective in your duties.
• Be prepared for out-of-hours and weekend work to ensure task completion. There will be required periods of staying remotely at on-site camp.   

Who You Are:

• You are a self-motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for achieving excellence.
• While prior experience or exposure to the Shipping Industry is advantageous, we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and the right attitude to learn and succeed.
• Strong customer service, attention to detail, administrative proficiency, and a good grasp of computer skills are essential.
• You thrive under pressure, meet deadlines effectively, and approach challenges as opportunities for growth.
• Safety, compliance, and wellness are paramount to you and your team's success.
• You must possess a valid Australian work permit, driver's license, and driving experience, along with eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
• You must be able to pass an AOD test (Alcohol and other drugs) as well as lung function test.
