Shipping Supervisor 2PM-10:30PM

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the team accurately and timely ships product to fulfill customer orders. In addition, manage a team of coworkers in executing department goals. This position also interacts and collaborates closely with the Stocking, Receiving, Returns, and Inventory departments.
* What you will do:
* Manage the daily workload to meet department goals by running reports, reviewing data, and allocating resources to ensure product is accurately and timely shipped.
* Observe the floor to ensure the Preferred Methods for the department are followed and provide direction to Team Leads.
* Manage a team of coworkers by providing ongoing feedback through communication, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
* Provide resources and tools to coworkers to help them execute their goals.
* Address coworker concerns or challenges and properly escalate if necessary.
* Collaborate with the team, and other departments within the distribution center, to improve operational efficiencies.
* Promote, adhere, and enforce CDW safety standards as well as policies and procedures in the Road to Success coworker handbook.
* What we expect of you:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1 year experience leading a team.
* 2 years' experience in a Warehouse/Distribution Center environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent organizational skills with critical attention to detail.
* History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying products in any combination at any given time.
* Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors, and forklifts.
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience with AS400 or other warehouse management system.
* Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
