The candidate shall provide requisite Knowledge Management (KM) support to assist in shaping and overseeing command KM efforts. The candidate shall assist USFF in the development of a strategy to establish a USFF KM program through the definition, measurement, motivation, management of resources, all through an expert understanding of the KM Processes and how the USFF IT environment (inclusive of software, hardware, and network) can support. The candidate will provide general input into whether the current network needs to be modified, upgraded, or reconfigured to support the KM best practices and processes that are to be implemented at the command, as well as ensure their capability with USFF current software/hardware/network and functions supported by this effort. The candidate shall lead special projects and daily tasks that impact the way communications is delivered to throughout the command via emerging technologies, Greenboard, and Flank Speed (M365). The candidate shall develop training and documentation to support these efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
•Provide assistance and support to all USFF users in the use of SharePoint, Microsoft Office and custom applications
•Gather and document of user requirements
•Provide SharePoint training to all USFF users (classroom or online). Training will be recurring or ad-hoc
•Develop and maintain up to date SharePoint training materials and custom application(s) technical guides
•Provide technical support for all custom applications used by USFF and its AOR
•Utilize SharePoint and web technologies such as master page, power pivot, workflows and excel services, HTML, CSS a Java Script to deliver functional, responsive, and enhanced user experience
•Performs the duties and functions of site collection/hub administrator.
•Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss projects, tasks, and policies
•Design and develop portal requirements
•Plan, coordinate, and support migration effort according to changing technologies
•Support on premise and cloud IT solutions
•Innovate where applicable to create process efficiencies
•Develop POAM for all projects and tasks
•Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss projects, tasks, and policies
•Ensure site design aligns with section 508 compliance
Job Requirements: (BULLETED LIST)
•Associate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
•Four years of experience in SharePoint as a power/advance user and site collection administrator.
•Four years of experience in the use of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and Java Script.
•Four years of experience in providing customer support
•Four years of experience in providing user training
•Three years of experience in writing technical guides
•Proficiency and in-depth experience in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform
Certification
•Current SharePoint Advance or Power User or follow-on Microsoft SharePoint training
•CompTIA Sec+
Security Clearance
•Must have an active secret clearance
