The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Online / Power Platform Business Analyst to join our team and lead the design and implementation of SharePoint / Power Platform solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, directly interfacing with customers to design and facilitate SharePoint / Power Apps strategies from the ground up.Location and Travel:This is primarily a remote position, but the ideal candidate should be in the Bethesda, MD area for occasional on-site visits and potential NMCI Asset receipt.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document their needs, goals and challenges in relation to SharePoint and Power Platform solutions in Office 365.
- Design and document process flows, workflows and user stories while adhering to best practices for SharePoint administration and design.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Design and document process flows, workflows, and user stories for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions and integrations.
- Establish SharePoint governance, roles, and responsibilities.
- Support page owners in setting up privileges, creating structures, and providing training. Facilitate project status meetings and proactively communicate potential roadblocks or dependencies.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and propose solutions to complex challenges. Verify the completeness and accuracy of business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate implemented solutions. Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, including tracking and reporting defects.
- Apply a strong understanding of business processes, industry trends and organizational dynamics.
- Assist in interpreting requirements from Stakeholders.
- Verify business and functional requirements.
- Help liaise between PP developers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ yrs Experience with design and document process flows, workflows and user stories
- Solid written and verbal communication skills to efficiently track, troubleshoot and report defects
- Strong understanding of business processes, industry trends and organizational dynamics
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and facilitate discussions with stakeholders
- Critical Thinking, Problem-solving, Decision-making
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Secret clearance
Desired:
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with SharePoint
- Familiarity with Power Platform
- Institutional Knowledge of legacy applications
- Assist in monitoring project progress and identify risks

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
