Sharepoint Developer - Norfolk VA

A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO FILL THIS POSITION 

Job Title: Sharepoint Developer 

Location: Norfolk VA

Position Type: Full Time 

General Responsibilities:

• Assist government and other technical staff to ensure SharePoint is used according to best practices
• Serve as a Technical Representative for SharePoint-related projects
• Ensure quality assurance activities are completed, including technical reviews and code documentation
• Assist end users by providing strategic SharePoint direction, training materials, and status updates on support requests

CERTIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint certification desired

EXPERIENCE:

• Eight (8) Years experience with SharePoint Server 2013/2016 design principles, architecture, and out of the box (OOTB) functionalities
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or higher: 5 years practical experience
• Expertise and experience with medium-complexity technical activities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with IIS 7.0, Active Directory, and SQL Server 2019 or higher as they relate to SharePoint
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, XML, XSL, XSLT, CAML Query, RestAPI, SharePoint services, Powershell, InfoPath 2013, SharePoint Designer 2013
• Navy NWL: 1 year practical experience
• Navy FIMS: Experience preferred

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES
