Job Description
- Role: SharePoint Administrator
- Skillset: SharePoint, MS Teams, Powershell Scripting, O365 - Power Automate
- Experience: 4-6 years
- Location: Noida and Chennai
Role Overview
- Second line Teams and SharePoint Online support engineer
- To provide second line support and technical implementation: installation, maintenance, performance optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Handling of Teams/SharePoint Online incidents and requests escalated by L1 teams.
- Work on projects to develop and improve the services provided by the team
- Assist the team with maintenance and troubleshooting of the supported environments
- Monitoring, analysis and diagnostics of environment alerts and warnings
- Ensure the security and integrity of the supported environments
- Production and development of documentation and support guides.
- Monitor developments by Microsoft and in the wider IT industry, to advise where improvements can be made
Essential Skills
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience of Office365 administration, in particular Teams and SharePoint Online
- General awareness of Windows servers and other IT technologies such as networking, AD, etc.
- Some experience of scripting, preferably against AD, Office 365 and Windows servers
- Good knowledge of IT security principles and how they should be implemented
- Experience within a customer support environment.
- Problem solving skills, persisting until a resolution is found
- A committed team player with the desire to help colleagues.
- Able to contribute to meetings and express opinions in a professional manner.
- Documentation skills, with the ability to produce documents for use by an end user, as well as operational procedure documentation for use by service desk personnel.
Additional Skills
- Experience in other Office 365 technologies such as Power Automate.
