The Finance Shared Services Group manager- Record to Report will be responsible for managing the end-to-end record-to-report processes and ensuring they are being executed as per defined SLAs and KPIs within the global shared service model. These activities include but are not limited to close, journal entries, MDM/COA, reconciliation, petty cash management, fixed assets, allocations, etc. This role is responsible to provide periodic reporting of performance matrix and management dashboards on a timely basis. Ensure effective governance by monitoring and review of shared services activities, creating and deploying internal controls across the sub processes within R2R, identifying paint points within the process and proactive development and enhancement of end-to-end processes through collaboration with process stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient processes.
What You'll Do:

  • Manage detailed RTR processes end-to-end delivered within shared service and resolve KPI and SLA gaps, as they occur
  • Provide understanding of BPO type technology and innovation in the marketplace to improve Record To Report process through optimization, AI, robotic process automation, and next-generation technologies
  • Monitor Close Process (follow checklist to ensure all processes and activities are performed) and proactively resolve issues relating to close process between shared service provider and retained organization
  • Manage and track SLAs and KPIs for the record and close process
  • Ensure review and report mechanism is in place to detect errors and put in necessary controls
  • Ensure all consolidated financials are provided to the appropriate stakeholders on a timely and accurate basis through constant management and improvement analysis within shared services
  • Work with Global Product Owners and Leads to drive cross-process innovation and synergies
  • Ensure execution and Manage consolidation of specific financial information provided by BPO is completed for the integrity of the financials
  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Recommend and drive operational excellence within a shared service environment


What You'll Bring:

  • Significant Finance experience (BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience)
  • BPO experience at a manager level, and experience in managing global team processes
  • Extensive experience managing/working with 3rd party providers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Extensive experience with end-to-end record-to-report processes

Compensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
