Job Purpose:

The Services, Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in defining the scope of professional services engagements by assessing customer requirements, estimating effort, and ensuring alignment with internal capabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of the company’s products and services, the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, implementation, and technical teams, and excellent analytical skills to ensure accurate project scoping and proposal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Solutions, Product and Services teams to gather and analyze customer requirements.
  • Develop detailed scoping documentation, including project scope, effort estimates, cost estimates, resource requirements, and assumptions.
  • Assist in defining the implementation approach, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all scoped engagements align with internal capabilities, delivery methodologies, and customer expectations.
  • Create standardized templates and processes for scoping and estimating professional services projects.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by providing scoping input for proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Maintain a repository of past project scopes, lessons learned, and estimation benchmarks to improve future accuracy.
  • Partner with Services and Product to put together one-time costs for projects.
  • Participate in handoff meetings between sales and implementation teams to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to product and services teams based on common customer needs and project challenges

  • Accuracy of project scope and effort estimations.
  • Customer satisfaction with scoped engagements.
  • Efficiency in proposal development and approval times.
  • Alignment of scoped engagements with delivery team capabilities.
  • Contribution to process improvements and best practices.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in professional services scoping, business analysis, or pre-sales support within a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, professional services delivery models, and software implementation processes.
  • Ability to assess customer requirements and translate them into well-defined project scopes.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or hospitality technology solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and documentation software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospitality technology or enterprise software implementation.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of pricing models and cost estimation techniques for professional services.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 9 PM IST and subject to changes by Manager’s communication. This will allow the most overlap across all US time zones to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in hybrid mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad.

Travel:

This position may require up to 25% of travel. Travel may be overnight and outside of regular business hours.
