We are looking for an experienced Services & Development Support Lead to manage the Services and Development Support team for Merge Mansion and drive process improvements across the entire game development lifecycle. In this role, you will balance leadership responsibilities with a strong focus on streamlining workflows and dependencies, driving automation initiatives, and fostering collaboration between teams. You’ll work closely with various game operations domains, including release management, project management, player support, QA, audio design, and localization, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
- Leading the Merge Mansion Services and Development Support team, providing guidance, structure, and mentorship to ensure strong performance and alignment with project goals
- Identifying inefficiencies in development and release workflows and implementing solutions that improve team-wide productivity and collaboration
- Championing DevOps practices to drive automation efforts, improvements for CI/CD pipelines, and streamline release processes across the project
- Taking ownership of the roadmap for operational and process improvements within the game ops team’s domains, ensuring alignment with game-wide objectives and OKRs
- Acting as a central hub for information flow for the game ops team, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Establishing best practices and frameworks for risk mitigation, planning, and operational oversight
- Working together with engineering, production, and live operations teams to enhance release processes and minimize disruptions
Requirements
- Strong understanding of game development, especially in free-to-play games, and experience working with live games and adapting to shifting priorities
- Proven ability to improve development workflows, remove bottlenecks, and streamline release work
- Good understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and CI/CD pipelines and comfortable working with technical teams
- Familiarity with release management, QA, player support, localization, and audio, along with the ability to assess and support these teams’ work needs effectively
- Ability to identify key priorities and make strategic decisions on where to focus efforts
- Experienced managing projects and working across multiple teams
- Comfortable collaborating with production, engineering, and live operations to ensure smooth development and releases
- Track record of defining and implementing effective OKRs, and building strategic roadmaps that ensure clear progress and accountability.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams, providing structure, and helping them work efficiently
