We're looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our team at Smartly in Helsinki and play a key role in optimizing our product development processes, enhancing collaboration, and driving data-informed decision-making. 

In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enable our product teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

As a Product Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and optimize product development processes, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and predictability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and effective execution of product strategy.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Establish and maintain product analytics, reporting, and dashboards to track key metrics, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Product Roadmap and Planning: Support product planning and roadmap processes, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Tools and Infrastructure: Manage and optimize the product team's tool stack, ensuring effective utilization, integration, and adoption of tools for product management, collaboration, and development.
  • Voice of the Customer: Implement processes and systems to gather, analyze, and disseminate customer feedback and market insights to inform product decisions.
  • Process Improvement & Standardization: You will be in charge of leading initiatives to improve the efficiency and consistency of the product management delivery. You will also refine, document, and implement standardized product management frameworks and workflows to ensure clear scalability and growth readiness.
  • Product Council: Lead and facilitate the Product Council meetings, focused on product portfolio strategy, aligning product development priorities with business objectives, and ensuring visibility of strategic opportunities.
  • Product Ops Bi-Weekly Meeting Management: Lead the Product Ops bi-weekly meetings where all changes to product processes are reviewed and approved by Product Leadership, ensuring that process changes are aligned with product strategy and operational needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a product operations role or related field, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard) and data analytics platforms.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and enabling product teams to succeed.
  • Ability and willingness to work from our Helsinki office for three days a week
