As a ServiceNow Staff Software Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, customization and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to support IT service management and business process automation needs.
This role involves working among a team of ServiceNow administrators, developers, and analysts, to meet business requirements. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and the platform overall.
What you’ll do:

Adhere to platform strategy, solution architecture, integration, and best practices

Work closely with lead developers and business analysts to understand business outcomes and requirements, then collectively translate them into effective ServiceNow solution designs.

Collaborate on the design of complex, effective ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs.

Coordinate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and teams.

Analyze platform performance and implement optimization strategies for the

Contribute to overall stability and enhancement of ServiceNow systems.

Assist with integrating ServiceNow with other systems.
-
Contribute technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
-
Assist in change management efforts, addressing inquiries and ensuring smooth transitions during system changes.

Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations, collaborating with support teams for timely resolutions.

Ensure deadlines are met and objectives achieved

Participate in Scrum team ceremonies

Support end-user training
What you’ll bring:
-
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration implementing ServiceNow solutions.
-
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices
-
Experience with and established knowledge of ITIL practices
-
Hands-on experience configuring or building ServiceNow applications.
-
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certifications
-
3 + years of experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
-
In-depth knowledge of scripting languages, including JavaScript and GlideScript
-
2+ years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC, and file imports).
-
Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
-
Strong technical skills, including workflow configuration, and business rule development.
-
Expertise in designing and implementing complex workflows.
-
The ability to independently create and manage integrations with external systems.
-
Understanding of performance optimization techniques
-
Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities
