What does a Senior Workforce Manager do? The Senior Workforce Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize workforce utilization, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the right resources are in place to meet business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of workforce analytics, capacity planning, and team leadership. The WFM Senior Manager should possess relevant WFM experience handling campaigns with a range of communication channels and platforms, such as phone calls, chat, email, back-office tasks, social media, and more.
As a Senior Workforce Manager, you will:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the workforce planning function, collaborating with various departments to understand business goals, resource requirements, and workforce trends.
- Develop and implement workforce management strategies that align with the organization's short-term and long-term objectives.
- Analyze historical data, industry trends, and business projections to forecast workforce needs and identify potential gaps or areas of improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce management, such as staffing levels, forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and service levels.
- Collaborate with recruitment and HR teams to ensure timely and effective hiring, onboarding, and training processes to support workforce requirements.
- Oversee scheduling and shift allocation to ensure adequate coverage while considering employee preferences and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and maintain workforce management tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the workforce management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Act as a liaison between different departments to communicate workforce-related updates, changes, and initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to represent the workforce management perspective and contribute to strategic decisions.
- Proactively identify areas for operational efficiency improvements and propose solutions to enhance resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

Skills:
- Experience in managing global operations and teams.
- Should have managed WFM teams for different industry verticals like - Travel, Aviation. Technology, Fintech, Hitech, Education,Retail etc.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in workforce analytics tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of capacity planning, scheduling methodologies, forecasting and Real time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
- Experience with workforce management software and tools (Eg:- NICE IEX, Avaya, Aspect, Verint, Five9, Genesys etc.)
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in workforce management or related fields.
