As the Workday Accounting Technology Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our financial systems and processes, with a primary focus on Workday. You will be responsible for leading Workday integrations, financial reporting, banking integration, and other related activities to ensure the seamless operation of our accounting technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday integrations to streamline financial data flow between Workday and other systems.

Manage and enhance financial reporting capabilities within Workday, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the Workday platform.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Workday configurations, workflows, and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to end-users.

Lead efforts to integrate banking systems with Workday for seamless payment processing, reconciliation, and cash management.

Stay informed about Workday updates, best practices, and emerging trends in accounting technology, and recommend enhancements or new features to maximize the platform's value.

Mentor and train team members on Workday functionality, configuration, and troubleshooting techniques to build internal expertise and capabilities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Workday certification) is a plus.

5 years of experience working with Workday Financial Management, including configuration, integration, and reporting.

Proven track record of leading successful Workday implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects in a complex organizational environment.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, EIBs, Adaptive Planning, and other Workday tools for customization and data manipulation.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
