Job Description
The client is a leading IT service provider in Germany, specializing in innovative solutions for the financial services sector. Our partnership focuses on delivering advanced infrastructure and automation projects that enhance operational efficiency and drive digital transformation.
- Virtualized Environment Management: Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016 and newer), with a focus on performance, high availability, and virtualization using Hyper-V and Microsoft Clustering.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency.
- System Maintenance and Compliance: Perform upgrades, patches, and improvements, ensuring systems adhere to ITIL standards and comply with organizational policies.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, taking proactive measures to minimize downtime and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Collaboration and Security: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system integrity and security, providing technical expertise for projects and ongoing operations.
- Ticket Management: Handle and resolve technical support tickets, prioritizing tasks to meet SLAs and maintain system reliability.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in a virtualized Windows Server environment or comparable qualifications.
- Proficiency in Windows Server 2016 and newer versions, with strong knowledge of Hyper-V and clustering.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills and experience in automation.
- Familiarity with system management tools and ITIL-based process management.
- Self-motivated, independent, and responsible, with a confident and assertive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
