We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Windows Engineer to join our Keeper Privileged Access Manager (PAM) team. This is a 100% remote position with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area!

About the Role

As a Senior Windows Engineer, you will be joining an elite team of technical powerhouses within our Keeper Dev team. Play a pivotal role designing, developing and maintaining our Privileged Access Management platform for end-user devices using C++ or Rust technology along with Windows APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet both user and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
  • Utilize programming languages and technologies such as C++, Rust and Windows APIs
  • Balance multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of developed code
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development and security
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Windows development
  • Strong proficiency in C++/C++11/C++17, with fair knowledge of the language specification
  • Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend class
  • Solid understanding of low level Windows apis, code injection, process hollowing and api hooking
  • Familiar with Socket Programming or Network Communications
  • Knowledge of security practices in coding and principles of encryption
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a US Person
