We are seeking a talented UX Writer to craft clear, engaging, and user-friendly content that enhances the user experience across our digital platforms. As a UX Writer, you will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and product teams to deliver impactful copy that aligns with our brand voice and meets the needs of our users. Your work will help guide users seamlessly through interfaces and ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and intuitive.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation
- Write microcopy, including buttons, error messages, onboarding flows, tooltips, and navigation labels.
- Craft clear and concise content that supports users through their journey across web and mobile interfaces.
- Align copy with the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines.
User-Centered Approach
- Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and product managers to understand user needs and create effective content solutions.
- Incorporate feedback from usability testing and user research into content refinements.
- Ensure content is accessible and adheres to usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Collaboration
- Partner with designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of content within design layouts.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure consistency in messaging and tone.
- Advocate for the value of UX writing and content design in cross-functional discussions.
Optimization & Maintenance
- Conduct audits of existing content to identify gaps, redundancies, or inconsistencies.
- Use analytics and A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of copy and optimize content.
- Maintain and update content documentation and style guides.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of content strategies that align with business goals.
- Stay informed about UX and content design trends, tools, and best practices to improve workflows.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in UX writing, copywriting, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing examples of UX writing, including problem-solving and user-centered design thinking.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, brevity, and tone.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of UX principles and usability best practices.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with style guides and maintaining content consistency across platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to assess content performance.
- Knowledge of localization and content design for global audiences.
- Basic understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS).
