Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences and a strong background in UX/UI design principles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage UX/UI teams, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Act as the in-house expert on human-centered design thinking, widely deploying it across projects and re-design initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the overall user experience.
- Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.
- Ensure designs are consistent with organizational branding and design standards.
- Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends and technologies.
- Lead design workshops and brainstorming sessions.
- Measure qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
- Craft and maintain a modern design system/UX framework.
- Align UI/UX designs across a portfolio of projects.
Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience working with and leading UX/UI teams.
- Strong understanding of UX processes and experience interacting with users and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in UX deliverables such as UX documentation, User Journey Maps, Personas and Goals, Information Architecture, User Flows, Wireframe Prototypes, and Usability Testing.
- Keen aesthetic sensibility with an eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs.
- Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Miro, Illustrator, and others.
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing significant UX/UI work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with user-centered design principles.
- Experience working with agile development teams and cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
