DFINITY is looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to join the Identity team that builds decentralized identity solutions on ICP, alongside engineering and product management. One of the first problems you’ll solve is simplifying and optimizing the existing flows in our flagship identity solution - Internet Identity.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Research industry solutions to similar problems, and use prototyping and user testing to simplify ideas and ensure clarity for end users.
- Design systems for a broad range of target devices/browsers
- Simplify and optimize existing authentication flows in Internet Identity
- Design new features for Internet Identity and other future products that the team owns
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design or product design.
- Interest about Web3 and Blockchain technology
- Understanding the fundamentals of web technology for website development, such as HTML/CSS (no coding skills needed)
- Must include a portfolio, website, or other relevant links to your work in your application, providing viewable links and/or access instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a UX Lead role.
- Experience in leading design projects in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a multi-disciplinary team setting, exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Lead/participate in workshops to improve workflows and experience of websites
- Experience in the identity space - passkeys, identity management, verifiable credentials, identity wallets
* Please note that this role requires in-office work from our amazing office in Zurich 3 days per week
