What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team supporting the US Air Force Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This role will be instrumental in creating intuitive, efficient, and user-centered designs for modernized cloud applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong design skills with an understanding of cloud technologies and government/military application requirements. They should be able to create user-centered designs that meet both user needs and stringent security and compliance standards.
More About the Role
· Lead the design of user interfaces for cloud-based applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
· Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
· Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for cloud applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
· Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across applications.
· Incorporate accessibility standards and best practices into designs to meet DoD requirements.
· Contribute to the user experience strategy for the unified management portal and self-service dashboards.
· Analyze user feedback and usage data to continuously improve application interfaces.
· Stay current with UI/UX trends and emerging technologies in cloud-based applications.
· Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
· 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
· Experience with responsive design and designing for various devices and screen sizes.
· Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG).
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
· Experience designing for government or military applications.
· Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and how they relate to UI/UX design.
· Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and their design guidelines.
· Experience with design systems and component libraries.
· Understanding of data visualization techniques for complex datasets.
· Familiarity with user research methodologies and tools.
· Experience with usability testing and analytics tools.
· Knowledge of basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Certifications in UX design or related fields.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$104,200-$229,200
