Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to support liquidity reporting and analysis through process automation and control enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong risk mindset, advanced reporting skills, experience with SQL, and enjoys working with data. Experience within large projects.   We are looking for a self-motivated person who learns quickly and enjoys taking on challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively is crucial.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and support global treasury activities including funding, liquidity risk management, asset and liability management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activities
  • Monitor and evaluate global market conditions and provide overall advisory on treasury finance risk
  • Be responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metrics
  • Ensure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management regulatory requirements
  • Ensure data quality and establish controlled processes
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firms
  • Make recommendations to more experienced group members and management
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Python, C#, or similar programming languages
  • Experience in reporting and visualization tools and data wrangling such as PowerBI and Power Apps, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar
  • Strong risk management around SDLC cycles for defect resolution.
  • A strong sense of ownership and self-starter with attention to detail
  • Advanced at writing SQL scripts to source complex data
  • Advanced at documenting Process and Business Analysis within a large organization
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Polished communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, straightforward manner to executive management
  • Knowledge of bank products across retail and wholesale businesses
  • Contribute to critical data defect resolution, aligned to the liquidity system of record
  • Innovative management reporting, supporting the data defect program for 2052a.
  • Project management or product ownership functions to be performed as needed.
