At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Test Consultant to join our UniQue team.
- Define the test strategy and test plans with the client and the project manager.
- Write the test scenarios that are executed during the test phases of the project.
- Execute test scenarios or delegate their execution to fellow testers.
- Adapt the approach and plans to the changes, release planning and progress of the project
- and work on several projects at the same time if necessary.
- Proactively develop and maintain regression tests that need to be carried out to guarantee the quality of the applications.
- Collaborate with developer colleagues to unblock the tests and correct the bugs discovered.
- Regularly provide clear reports on the progress of tests and test plans.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Bachelors Degree with minimum 13 years of general IT experience (or Master Degree with minimum 9 years experience)
- Excellent knowledge of testing technologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, or similar) and techniques (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing).
- Excellent knowledge of information system quality assurance and quality control practices.
- Experience with quality procedures.
- Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (e.g, Jira).
- Experience in test data management with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification or equivalent would be desirable.
- A very good level of written and spoken English is required (minimum B2).
