Job Description
The Role
Reporting into the Technology reporting Lead, this role is responsible for developing, producing and delivering regular and one-off management information to provide insights and aid decision-making across the key Technology forums.
The Senior Reporting Analyst role will work across a broad range of collaborators to deliver the consolidated operational, project and strategic reporting across Technology to meet SEEK’s growth ambitions.
Additionally, the role will support the establishment of the new Technology Business Excellence function through providing transparency and tracking of proposed initiatives where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of and passion for data visualisation (specifically in Tableau), SQL and data pipelining to help build a consistent reporting structure for the TBOX function and senior level collaborators at SEEK.
- Work with Data Services and SEEK’s analytics community to source data for reporting, ensuring that it is automated, reliable and scalable.
- Liaise with senior collaborators from across the business to understand reporting needs and collect reporting requirements.
- Be the domain guide of data visualisation within the team and lead the implementation of visualisation standard methodologies.
- Improve existing reports and deliver new reports. Build and lead the process of ensuring that all reports are automated, quality checked, and meet the needs of the collaborators.
- Build and maintain documentation and training around the reporting practice and support.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- At least 3-5 years’ experience working in analysis, strategy or research-related roles
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Proficient with any Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Proficient with databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills
- Solid foundation with statistical knowledge, practices and application in business
- High degree of professionalism in all areas (communication, approach, style).
- Highly developed diplomacy, influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Optimally work under stress and with short timelines/challenging demands.
- Ability to work optimally across multiple geographies/cultures.
- Ability to partner at all levels of the organisation internally and externally.

The Team
This role, whilst based in Technology, will be required to partner multi-functionally to engage with wider Seek teams.
Whilst the role will have no direct reports, it will be required to build positive relationships with team members across Technology and other parts of the business, to deliver informative reporting outcomes.
