We are looking for an experienced person to bring our Technical SEO solutions to the next level!

As Senior Technical SEO Specialist (d/f/m) you will report into our new Head of SEO within our Product Development Department. Our aim is to make organic growth an important part of our Products and not just an afterthought.

What you will do:

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your SEO colleagues and our Tech teams to ensure that our SEO strategy is well understood and that best practices are integrated into our Product Development.

  • Develop a link-building strategy that improves domain authority and promotes organic growth. Identify opportunities for partnership and content collaboration to enhance our backlink profile.

  • Analyse and report website performance and SEO effectiveness. Provide relevant insights for continuous improvement.

  • Stay on top of the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and industry best practices. Adjust strategies to leverage new opportunities and reduce potential impacts on visibility and traffic.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of our SEO strategy within the organisation by translating and prioritising Growth Hypothesis into operational initiatives, collaborating with Tech, Product and Marketing experts

  • Ensure Delivery focuses on the highest levers and stays on track. Focus on Output and report progress within aligned formats and channels 

  • Monitor and analyse important SEO metrics, such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates, and use insights.

  • Be the primary contact for technical SEO-related inquiries, providing expertise and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO with an outstanding understanding of on-page and technical SEO

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and SEO best practices

  • Proven track record of achieving measurable SEO growth through independent testing and experimentation

  • Experience with website optimisation tools and techniques, including mobile optimisation, page speed enhancements, and schema markup

  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, Botify, Sistrix) combined with excellent Product Analytics skills (e.g. GA4, Search Console, Looker)

  • An appetite for collaboration across different departments and levels of the organisation, especially tech teams, with a bias for pragmatic decision making

  • Knowledge of CMS systems (e.g. Prismic)

  • A strong understanding of structured data and front-end programming languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

  • Preferably a background in coding or development; minimum is experience with BigQuery or other SQL variants, Python and Github

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is optional
