JOB SUMMARY
B-Stock Solutions is hiring a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to help us design, develop and deliver the future of our industry-leading ecommerce platform.
Project Managers will collaborate with engineers, product managers and a wide range of stakeholders including marketing, business development, operations and customer support throughout the project life cycle: design, development, testing and evaluation, production and disposition.
The TPM will work closely with and under the direction of the Director of Engineering to ensure assigned projects are aligned with business goals and completed on time, within budget and fully documented.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of developers, product managers, and internal business partners
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Participate in planning meetings with key stakeholders
- Define project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders
- Review specs and technical documentation for completeness and sign-off
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones with appropriate methodology and tools
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within multiple delivery teams
- Work with Engineering to implement solutions; create test plans, define rollout phases, training, and communications plans
- Execute launch plans, communication and quality assurance for major projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management or an equivalent field
- 3+ years of experience using JIRA, Asana, GitLab or similar software development tools
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Self-motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail oriented; skilled at both planning and hands-on execution
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; strong documentation skills
- Experience in e-commerce or related discipline
- Demonstrable experience defining and refining processes to optimize team efficiency
- Proven success working with a geographically dispersed team
- Unfazed by managing multiple concurrent projects of moderate to high technical complexity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with marketplaces, retail liquidations and/or SaaS is a plus.
- Experience as an Atlassian admin a plus (Confluence, Jira, Service Desk Trello)
- Experience as a software developer a plus.
The pay rate for this role will range between $165,000 to $195,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
