Sr. Technical Program Manager

What you'll do:
As a NinjaTrader Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable technology and various products across the organization, driving execution and ensuring timely delivery. Reporting to the TPM Manager, you will oversee multiple stages of the product development lifecycle, collaborating closely with engineering and product development teams. Acting as a communications liaison between technical and non-technical colleagues, you will facilitate cross-collaboration and understanding across Product Management, Product Development, and other departments. You are skilled at prioritizing, organizing, tracking, providing status updates, clarifying scope, and proactively managing risks and escalations through effective triage.
In this role, you will:
- Own and drive the entire lifecycle of complex web projects, ensuring technical delivery, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate closely with product development using Agile methodologies to resolve issues and keep everything on track
- Lead impactful architecture discussions with engineering teams, designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet long-term business needs
- Craft and review clear technical specification documents to align all teams on system requirements and design
- Champion Agile processes, facilitating Scrum rituals such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Work with product management, engineering, and UX teams to deliver high-value customer features
- Provide regular, transparent updates to key stakeholders on goals, risks, and next steps
- Contribute to strategic planning and road mapping processes, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, resource, and operational risks
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly, keeping development progress on track
- Influence key technical decisions, balancing technical debt with business outcomes
- Mentor and coach junior TPMs, fostering technical leadership and collaboration
- Continuously improve processes, systems, and team performance for long-term success
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of technical program management experience with web technologies or platform development
- Strong technical expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and architectural design
- Experience driving Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lead architectural discussions and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience managing key stakeholders and guiding teams toward shared objectives
- Excellent problem-solving skills, making decisions quickly and resolving technical issues effectively
- Experience providing clear, regular updates to senior leadership
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical education and work experience
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer with deep knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, product managers, business owners, and leadership
