About the Role
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Calabrio's Business Intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative BI solutions that drive business value. With your passion, talent and business expertise, you can help us create a product suite that brings innovation and differentiation to the market and continues to deliver workforce solutions to our customers.
What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for Calabrio's BI solutions
- Align the product roadmap with the overall business objectives and customer needs
- Stay abreast of industry trends & emerging technologies to identify innovation opportunities
- Product Backlog Management:
- Prioritize and maintain a well-groomed product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.
- Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Delivery:
- Work closely with development teams, agile coaches and other product managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and support teams and gather feedback to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, tailoring messages to their specific needs.
- Evangelizing your product internally and externally through high impact presentations and demos
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage data analytics to drive product decisions and measure product performance.
- Utilize BI tools and techniques to uncover insights and identify opportunities for optimization.
- BI Report Dashboard Development
- Create standardized BI and reporting assets for use across customers
- Lead customer training for Calabrio’s BI tools
Success Criteria:
- Strong background in Business Intelligence with strong understanding of Cloud Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, BI concepts and data visualization
· Experience in product design, project management and business analytics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of contact center operations and workforce optimization is preferred
- Experience with one or more of the following types of products or tools:
- WFM, ACD, IVR and related technologies
- Performance management and evaluation solutions
- CRM, Customer Success and Support solutions
- Database and Data Warehouse solutions
- Business Intelligence platforms
- Reporting technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of industry experience with 3-5 years in Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst role
- Experience with Agile & Scrum techniques and methodologies
- Experience working with commercial B2B SaaS applications
- Working knowledge of the SDLC
- Ability to work comfortably and fluidly in an evolving environment
- Hands-on experience in strategic planning and business case development
