Senior Technical Product Manager, Mobile UI Platform

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join Procore’s Mobile (Field) UI Platform team. In this role, you’ll orchestrate the development of innovative functionality and tools that shape the way construction professionals collaborate in the field. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver not only direct improvements to our mobile user experiences, but also to build a platform that allows teams across Procore to do the same.

This position reports into the Director of Product Management, Platform. and will be based in our India Offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do: 

• Understand internal customer needs and solve for those by partnering with design and engineering to develop design components, technologies, services, and libraries for iOS and Android.
• Influence experienced designers and developers within Procore that contribute to the design system. To be successful, you'll organize and collaborate with these groups to multiply the output of the UI platform.
• Govern and manage processes for library updates, integrating workflows with engineering, and making Procore’s UI Platform part of the onboarding process for new designers, front-end engineers and mobile engineers.
• Become the voice of the customer (internal development teams), as well as the go-to person to educate stakeholders on best practices, technologies and trends guiding the mobile UI platform community. 
• Leverage metrics to define strategies to iterate and improve the user experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends such as VR/AR and AI shaping the future of user interface design and mobile experiences 

What we’re looking for: 

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related experience. 
• A minimum of 5 years in product management or related roles focusing on UI Platforms. 
• Experience defining, managing or driving adoption of design systems or UI platforms.
•  
• Technical knowledge of design systems, design tools (e.g. Figma), code libraries (React, IOS and Android) and supporting tools (e.g. Storybook). 
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Library
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers.
