Your Mission:
As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our Licensing and Protection team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud, software, and hardware-based licensing solutions. Working within an agile SCRUM team, you’ll collaborate with developers and fellow automation engineers to build robust test frameworks and drive continuous improvements in our validation processes. Your Responsibilities
Agile Development & Collaboration:
- Actively contribute as a SCRUM team member, taking ownership of sprint commitments and delivering high-quality results.
- Participate in backlog estimations and ensure transparency in ongoing tasks.
- Validate user stories and tasks against defined acceptance criteria.
- Follow and enhance the team’s Definition of Done to maintain high standards.
- Drive innovation by proposing new ideas, methodologies, and improvements.
- Apply best practices in software testing and agile development.
Test Automation & Quality Assurance:
- Define, develop, and execute validation test plans and procedures for new and updated products.
- Enhance and extend our Java/C/C++-based automation framework to meet evolving requirements.
- Design and maintain automated test cases using Jira (X-Ray) while ensuring proper test coverage.
- Work closely with developers to strategize testing approaches and integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimize defect leakage and ensure high product reliability.
- Contribute to automated build integration and functional-level regression testing.
- Keep test plans and test cases up to date as product requirements evolve.
Teamwork & Support:
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth testing workflows and knowledge sharing.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members when needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Your Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software test automation, focusing on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Hands-on experience developing test automation applications in Java, C, or C++.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Java, C/C++, Python, Shell scripting.
- Experience debugging Java, C, and C++ applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit, PyWin, Squish, Sikuli.
- Experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux system commands and debugging tools.
- Exposure to IP protection and copy protection technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Locust, Docker, CMake, and Ninja.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
