We are working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in our Natick, MA HQ.
The Senior Tax Manager will be an integral part of the finance organization and will partner closely with the business on a wide range of tax matters. This position will be responsible for accurate quarterly reporting, tax modeling, US direct and indirect tax compliance, operational transfer pricing, special projects, and tax technology innovations working closely with a US Tax Manager and the broader tax team. As a leader on our tax team, the Senior Tax Manager will collaborate with the corporate finance and business teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive tax professional with a hands-on approach who contributes meaningfully to the effectiveness of the tax team and influences strategic decisions.
Essential Functions:

Lead the company’s quarterly forecast and year-end tax accounting provision processes, with support from a Tax Manager and the broader tax team, including the analysis of key aspects of international taxation such as GILTI, transfer pricing, maintenance of the uncertain tax positions and deferred tax accounting (approximately 30% of time)

Lead all US tax compliance matters along with the Tax Manager, including Federal, State and Local as well as Sales and Use tax returns, as well as return to provision analysis (approximately 30% of time)

Lead and manage special projects, tax planning and M&A, corporate initiatives, and operational transfer pricing (approximately 20% of time)

Manage ongoing US tax audits with support from a Tax Manager (approximately 20% of time)

Work effectively with the tax team and other departments of corporate finance and the broader business organization

Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation and assess their impact on the company. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management

Drive efforts to leverage technology to improve and automate tax processes

Guide key stakeholders through complex tax rules and regulations
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred

Proven experience with US GAAP ASC 740 and tax compliance, as well as exposure to international tax issues such as GILTI and FDII computations and basic understanding of transfer pricing principles required

Experience with creating multi-year tax models

Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax accounting; preferred experience in both global publicly traded companies and Big Four accounting firms, bringing a comprehensive understanding of complex tax environments.

Strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey complex technical information to all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner

Superior attention to detail and ability to highlight unexpected results

Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities within deadlines

Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Provision software is a plus.

Outstanding analytical skills, including ability to understand and evaluate complex tax principles

Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
