We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent Development team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
The Senior Talent Development Specialist, will play a critical role in shaping our organization's talent strategy and ensuring the development and retention of high-potential employees. Overseeing and enhancing various talent development initiatives, including the annual talent review process, performance management, and coaching programs.
How you will make an impact at the enterprise level:
- Oversee and lead the annual talent review process, succession planning and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to ensure talent programs align with the company's strategic objectives and business needs.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of talent programs.
- Establish, track and mature key metrics to measure the impact and success of talent programs.
- Enhance the annual performance management process to create a more agile, effective, and globally aligned system.
- Design and implement performance evaluation frameworks that encourage outcome-driven goal setting, feedback, and recognition, contributing to a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
- Support and enhance the annual officer promotion processes to ensure a fair process that is based on a comprehensive and transparent framework of sustained business impact and leadership.
- Design, deliver and manage development programs tailored to address key outcomes from talent processes, including recently hired or promoted senior leaders, high potential employees and/or successors for senior roles.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to leverage technology for streamlined and data-driven performance management practices.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in talent development and incorporate innovative approaches into the company's programs and processes.
- Support on a wide range of HR enterprise strategic initiatives, that deliver the people strategy and bring value beyond just the Talent Development remit.
Lead divisional cyclical processes.
- Take the lead on delivering cyclical processes including annual performance review and talent review. Communicating relevant information and timelines to the business and lead a consistent process in all locations.
- Work with the HR technology team to improve workday delivery of people processes and reporting including design requirements and testing.
- Work with the local HR teams to improve the consistency of support provided for divisional processes.
- Create and maintain the divisional HR calendar and keep track of divisional activity.
The experience you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Talent Development Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing talent development initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of talent management, succession planning, and performance management practices.
- Strong understanding of coaching methodologies and their application in a corporate setting.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to drive data-driven decision-making in talent development.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$108,000.00 - $132,000.00
