Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries, determining requirements and gathering support request information to analyze issues and identify solutions.
- Ensure all support requests and problem tickets are completed within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with asset management and replacement of end user equipment as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and support for technological systems, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with internal IT specialists for effective problem resolution.
- Participate in research and development initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems and processes.
- Train users on the proper use of hardware and software as necessary.
- Track inventory levels of equipment and materials, ensuring accurate data entry and record maintenance.
- Assist in the procurement of technology, inputting information into the record-keeping system.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend solutions for hardware and software issues.
- Assist with change management processes to ensure effective handling of IT changes, implementations, and minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Operations or a similar role, with a focus on cloud services and infrastructure.
- Ability to perform routine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on computer operating systems (Windows and MacOS) and computer hardware.
- Great communication and customer service skills with all levels of employees.
- Strong documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues.
- Self-motivated, fast learner and ability to meet deadlines and goals.
- Ability to prioritize and perform tasks under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Certifications in Azure or ITIL are a plus.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
- Experience managing GitHub organizations
- Experience with change management processes and tools.
- Experience managing Zendesk.
- Experience with external access and cross-tenant support.
