Your Focus

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for delivering finance-related projects, optimizing business processes, and supporting financial systems, particularly SAP Controlling and product costing with ECC and S/4HANA. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle—from gathering requirements to implementing innovative solutions in the finance and controlling domain.

With your expertise, you’ll ensure the seamless support and advancement of Finance systems, leveraging your experience with S/4HANA to make a meaningful impact.

The role is Hyderabad, India based and will report to IT Finance Manager - STP & Controlling.

How You Will Contribute

• Responsible for projects within controlling area involving multiple ERP systems including ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.

• From scope definition to project governance and resource estimation, you'll oversee day-to-day project execution to meet quality, time, and budget goals.

• Share project updates through regular reports, coordinate project closures, and ensure seamless handover to the support organization—all while leveraging SAP Roadmap methodology.

• Understand the IFF finance and controlling processes to drive enhancements in business models and processes, as well as support the creation of innovative technical solutions.

• Analyze and optimize how IT systems are utilized, providing training, implementing changes, and offering insights for process improvements.

• Configure ERP applications to support new processes and roles, along with producing documentation, training materials, test scenarios, and working procedures.

• Expertise in SAP FICO includes controlling, product costing, profitability analysis, cost center accounting, profit center accounting and an in-depth understanding of accounting best practices.

• Apply insights into controlling, material ledger and accounting processes, utilizing formal methodologies for requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.

• Bring expertise in the month-end close processes, with a proven track record of maintaining robust internal controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Business. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

• Minimum 10+ years overall SAP FICO experience in a global environment.

• 5+ years of relevant business experience.

• Strong Finance and Controlling systems experience in SAP, with focus on controlling, product costing, material ledger, profitability analysis, cost center accounting.

• Experience in ECC systems migration to S/4 HANA with technical upgrade focusing on product costing, material ledger/ actual costing activation.

• Deep understanding of integrated financial processes, Controlling, OTC, STP, RTR.

• Detailed business knowledge in Finance and Controlling.

• Knowledge of relevant concepts, methodologies and techniques

• S/4HANA Finance Certification is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• 5+ years Project management experience - operating as project manager or as part of a team organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation.

• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.

• Experience in communicating with users and stakeholders from multiple cultures.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time to international locations.
