Launch your tech career with ActiveProspect! We're searching for a driven Senior Systems Administrator to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our vital NetSuite and Zuora platforms. You'll manage user roles and access controls, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and be responsible for integrations directly impacting our core business processes and contributing to the company's success.

What You'll Do

As the primary systems administrator for our Billing System and NetSuite, you'll oversee all aspects of these platforms, including integrations with Salesforce and other critical applications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operates as the primary architectural lead on the Billing System and NetSuite.
  • Manage the Billing System and NetSuite, working closely with the integration engineer on any necessary integrations with other systems (e.g., Salesforce) to support billing and accounting.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot workflows.
  • Create and manage the product catalog, revenue recognition rules, journal runs, and end-of-month reports.
  • Manage development deployments from development environments to production.
  • Plan, review, revise, develop, test, and deploy feature configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet evolving business and operational needs.
  • Complete bulk imports and exports of data.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders from accounting, financial operations, and billing.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Applications teammates to implement best practices from across our application ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain strong security practices, access controls, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance for both systems, including the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, documentation of processes, periodic audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing necessary support during external audit reviews.
  • Create and refine reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Participate in the integration testing and data validation process of both systems with other enterprise systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Keep abreast of new features and functionality, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Proactively identify system enhancements and innovative solutions to optimize processes.

To Succeed in this Role You’ll Need

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree require
  • A trusted business partner who is sought out for your technical prowess
  • A track record of success operating independently at high levels of performance.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with Zuora, Zone and Netsuite software, including implementation and operational expertise
  • Experience with prevention and management of fraud, including chargebacks.
  • Knowledge of best practices around billing support processes or other equivalent sophisticated billing systems across a larger organization, including billing process optimization, automation of manual processes, and adherence to best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly and efficiently to billing system issues of varying complexity
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use Excel to analyze data (e.g., billing anomalies, custom reporting). Strong Excel knowledge is required
  • Proven ability to multi-task various duties and assignments while maintaining quality work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google for Work applications and SQL
  • Superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate and discuss complex billing or system issues with non-technical staff
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, working with billing system users and stakeholders
  • Ability to establish rapport with others and work well as part of a dynamic team.
  • Zuora Administrator certification is preferred but candidates without certification will still be considered
  • University-level accounting courses and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in support of business administration processes are preferred.
