Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior System Administrator, the role involves overseeing and advising in the arear of IT Operations and Infrastructure in collaborating with internal colleagues and external partners for optimal results to ensure stable, efficient and secure IT Operations and infrastructure.
The overseeing responsibilities include components like physical and virtual servers, network, Intune, backup etc. but also deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware/software, lifecycle etc. It involves identifying and resolving infrastructure incidents and problems, planning and implementing changes and releases with minimal disruption, and monitoring infrastructure capacity and performance trends. In case of incidents, you can be call in to help the incident team to get the service up running again as fast as possible.
In this role you will also be responsible to oversee our outsourcing partners delivery, and they deliver according to agreements and contracts. You will also be responsible to ensure we have updated policy and guidance in your responsible area that reflect STARK business model and development in IT best practice and ensure/follow up on that your colleagues our IT colleagues and outsourcing partners know the policy and guidance and are following them.
Additionally, the role requires enforcing compliance requirements, disaster recovery and backup plans in coordination with partners to ensure timely recovery in case of disruptions.
The position acts as the primary technical contact for external infrastructure vendors.
What You Bring:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as System Administrator in an international setup.
The role demands strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues and effective collaboration with external partners. Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and security is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities (English written and oral) are essential for fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle infrastructure challenges efficiently, ensuring effective infrastructure operations
Bonus points if you have/can:
- Write and speak Danish
- Experience working in an outsourced IT environment.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
