Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Senior Supply Management Planner
Poznań, Poland
In Supply Chain Management, our primary responsibility is to select and manage the John Deere global supply chain of the assigned commodities. We are committed to exceeding our customer expectations by delivering products of the highest quality, on time, in full and at globally competitive costs.
Your responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Work proactively with Supply Management Specialist managing highly complex commodities and supply base.
  • Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to ensure parts availability.
  • Work with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance; measures the performance of the supplier and defines corrective actions; may negotiate with suppliers to resolve short-term performance problems.
  • Clarify quantity discrepancies between invoices and physical deliveries.
  • Coordinate and execute inventory plans using systems parameters and material replenishment strategies to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supply base.
  • Resolve and eliminate shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.


Our requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (B2/C1).
  • Experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, forecasting, logistics, etc. (at least 3 years).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to think analytically and logically.
  • Communicativeness and ability to work in a group.
  • Good organization of working time.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.


Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in German (B2/C1).
