Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Boeing Defense Space and Security is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialists to join Special Projects Dallas - Hardware Processing Center, Dock and Supply Chain Team located in Richardson, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, supply chain, mentorship, proposal development, procurement, and rework & repair of aircraft hardware.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and administer post-production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material.
- Lead activities for economy of purchases. Lead and monitor customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
- Lead the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
- Initiate recommendations for repair sourcing decisions. Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties.
- Conduct supplier/customer presentations and program reviews. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Richardson, TX.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3 or more years of experience with CAPRs and GOLDesp
- 5 or more years of experience working in the supply chain field
- Basic knowledge on use of ARES. (Accelerated Receiving Execution System)
- Basic Knowledge on use of TEAM Center
- Basic knowledge on use of Haystack
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- US Security Clearance
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. The selected candidate will need to be located in the surrounding area or relocate at their own expense.
