This is an exciting Supply Chain Planning opportunity in a key strategic and growing area of operations for ResMed, a global leader in sleep and respiratory health.
The role is for a Senior Supply Chain Planner role, based in ResMed Los Angeles' new, state of the art, Calabasas factory. The role is part of the Global Product Supply Planning Team within ResMed’s Supply Chain, with members across the world in Atlanta, Sydney, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The objective of our team, the Product Supply Planning team, is to deliver sustainable supply to our global business, supporting profitable growth, and maximizing value within the ResMed end-to-end supply chain.
Our team will continually manage and plan the flow of goods (from buy to make to last miles), as well as the key decisions across the ResMed global supply chain network, ensuring to meet customer demands while optimizing costs and resources.
The role will involve managing a specific product portfolio, ensuring planning strategies and processes are in place, and working effectively to ensure efficient flow of goods and consistent supply to meet overall production and customer requirements with optimum inventory.
Aside from managing a portfolio, this hire is also expected to help drive planning excellence within the newly formed Product Supply Planning Team in North America.
Key to success in this role is defined by balancing customer service, with optimal inventory management, and cost-to-serve expectations. Strong engagement with the business leaders, nurturing cross functional relationships, and driving scalable systems and business processes will be required from you.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
Collaborative Supply Planning:

Work with internal stakeholders to understand drivers of demand. Ensure the on-going supply plans are adjusted accordingly based on changes and trends, and that the impacts are also highlighted and communicated to other internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, such as suppliers.

Identify supply constraints and provide risk mitigation pathways through effective root cause analysis.

Ensure appropriate monitoring and management of supply risks mitigation with relevant stakeholders.

Represent Product Supply Planning team and lead supply chain conversation in meetings with cross functional teams.
Delivering Supply Velocity:

Optimize preparation and review with Master Supply Planner of mid-term production plan to meet weekly demand supportability and discuss impact with relevant Operations stakeholders.

Defines and ensures optimal use of Advanced Planning system and end to end supply chain system for product supply planning team, including maintenance of data (planning parameters includes lead time management, safety stocks, lot sizes etc.).

Management of product changes in your portfolio to ensure minimal cost impact via active review and discussion with relevant cross functional team.

Deliver targeted financial outcomes through optimal inventory management and cost to buy/make/serve to ensure product prioritization by SKU and balance manufacturing output that meet customer delivery requirement.

Obtain information of New Product launch and product obsolescence from Product Lifecycle Planning Lead to enable robust planning and impactful conversation with Product Led team for profitable growth.

Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supply chain planning role.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred:

Multidisciplinary experience (e.g. material planning and production planning, production planning and commercial supply planning) is preferred.

Experience with both Oracle and o9 are preferred, but any experience with Supply Chain Planning systems will be good.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
