What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Supervisor for our Water/Pipelines Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

Supervising and managing a self-performing team and subcontractors
-
Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions

Reporting incidents, non-conformances and near misses and participate in incident investigations when required
-
Collaborating with supervisors project engineers/managers, mechanical / civil / electrical disciplines and other project stakeholders

Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources
-
Conducting toolbox talks and prestart meetings.
How you'll connect to the role:
-
Previous experience as a Senior Supervisor working on Civil projects

Exposure to the water/wastewater/pipelines or heavy civil industries advantageous
-
Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
-
Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
-
Good on-site problem solving expertise

A sound understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards
