Genesys is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to support strategic planning and research projects within the company. This position will have a crucial impact on defining and creating the corporate strategy, and will be focused on driving research projects to answer strategic questions posed by the executive team and other internal principles.

This role is ideal for early-career candidates from a consulting background and offers a fully remote “virtual office”, hours that better respect your life outside of work, more agency over your own activities, and the ability to implement, not just create, ideas. The role is also well suited to candidates with previous corporate strategy experience. Genesys is fast-growing, creating many opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic planning & operating processes alongside the Genesys leadership team.
  • Manage research project workstreams alongside internal stakeholders and external analyst vendors.
  • Gain a deep understanding of your research focus and be able to provide insightful and structured analysis of the subject area.
  • Have a clear understanding of the company and strategy and be able to have a point of view and opinion on a large variety of strategic topics.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and documents that clearly describe the outcome of the research and recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional, international teams to proactively understand their needs as it relates to improving their decision making.
  • Must have ability to travel up to 20% of time, though will most likely be less than 20% (travel will be for “purposeful presence” only).

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm or SaaS business, applicants with lower tenure but strong experience will be considered.
  • Experience in the contact center infrastructure market, the CRM market, the broader customer engagement/ CX market or other enterprise software and/or SaaS markets is preferred.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, strategy, sales, finance, product marketing, or product management is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Experience working in a global organization.

  • You possess excellent analytical and research skills; the ability to organize and summarize large amounts of information in a structured way and draw key conclusions.
  • You can synthesize technical material and identify key insights for various audiences.
  • You are determined and persistent; you enjoy autonomous research to find key relevant information and strategic intelligence.
  • You are good at building relationships and interviewing people to complete primary research.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong PowerPoint skills.
  • You can create compelling content and narratives to maximize readership and adoption of ideas.
  • You seek collaborative environments where the bar for quality is set high.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$79,350.00 - $155,750.00
