Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering products to the market by overseeing projects, managing resources, budget and schedule. Partner cross functionally with product management, technical / design leaders, architects, and globally distributed team of software and applications engineers to deliver software platform to consuming programs and products. Facilitate Agile ceremonies related to software release planning and execution. Oversee the daily work of the development team and take part in the teams’ performance review feedback.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or related. Eight (8) years of experience in Software Engineering, Agile Software Development, Medical Device Software Development or a combination thereof.

Work Experience to include: Eight (8) years of experience in SDLC, Medical Device Quality Management, and Software Team Management; Five (5) years of project management experience, that includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and executing; Three (3) years of experience in operating in Scaled Agile or LEAN working environment; Three (3) years of experience with medical device or any highly regulated product software development with experience in the Quality Management System; Three (3) years of experience in managing Software releases, delivery and deployment using Software configuration management systems, Continuous integration, and delivery systems, specifically using Clearcase, or Perforce, or Git and Jenkins; Three (3) years of experience in leading and coordinating global software development teams; Three (3) years of experience in software programming including: C, C++, or Java; Two (2) years of experience as Agile Scrum Master or Agile Release Train Engineer; and Experience in at least two (2) successful regulatory registrations (e.g. FDA, NMPA registrations). Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
