Job Summary
 

As a part of our continued expansion, Targray requires the services of a Senior SQL Developer, to join our Risk and Data Technology Team based at our India Office Gurgaon, Haryana. The scope of this position extends to Targray applications and application infrastructure worldwide.
Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining complex SQL queries/logic for Risk calculations, data manipulation, transformation that cover SQL stored procs, queries, functions, views
  • Perform physical and logical data modelling and database designs required to build the Transactional and data warehouse solution.
  • Tune/optimise queries and DB objects for performance, efficient resource usage and re-usability.
  • Manage, deploy the database artefacts in the different SQL Server environments.
  • Building relationships and cleaning data between different systems to align the data to get accurate reports.
  • Developing, debugging, and modifying the SSRS Reports/SSIS Packages used in ETL, data ingestion pipelines.
  • Ability to take ownership and lead development related to key data projects in the data team

Requirements

  • University degree (B.Tech./MCA) in computer science or computer application.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience managing multiple MS SQL Server 2016 / 2017 databases and SQL development.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, written, and oral skills along with a positive attitude.
  • Experience and knowledge of handling large datasets, especially optimised data processing techniques in handling large volumes of data, merging aggregating data across different data sources, remote/linked data access as well as data replication.
  • Advance knowledge in SQL Query optimization, writing complex SQL queries, functions, procedures, triggers, and RDBMS data modelling.
  • Advance level knowledge on T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and stored procedures.
  • Data warehouse concepts (Implementation of ETL pipelines, data integration components (SSIS)
  • Adhere to timelines and quality of the assigned task.
  • Strong experience in SDLC processes in developing, testing, managing, deploying and supporting complex SQL code, objects and artefacts covering SQL queries, views, functions, configurations
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments
  • Must have excellent English oral and written communications skills.
  • Must have the ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
