The Opportunity:
This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division.
The Senior Specialist Project Manager assures access to high quality ingredients through efficient and effective ingredient qualification project management with global cross-functional project team members. The Specialist is responsible for managing global ingredient qualification projects from beginning to end, with accountability for project execution and timeline management inclusive of internal cross-functional and external supplier engagement.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and direct the activities and people associated with global ingredient qualification projects and ensure timely completion of tasks to meet business objectives and cross-functional project timelines.
· Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks, and timely communication to leadership and other project leads, where applicable.
· Interface with external suppliers to collect pertinent quality and compliance information.
· Utilize IT systems to execute qualification projects, resource tracking and metric development.
· Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established project schedules.
· Exercise authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate action.
· Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including global project teams, stakeholders and external suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Proficient in English with strong communication skills
· 5+ years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area and leading high-complexity, global projects
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree
· Ability to manage, communicate, and coordinate the ingredient qualification phases of Pre-Qualification, Supplier Assessment, Ingredient Assessment, Finished Product Assessment Approval and Communication
· Understanding of quality and compliance culture
· Demonstrated skills in collaborating and influencing cross-functional project teams
· Demonstrated leadership competencies
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
· Strong planning and execution skills
· Engagement with external parties such as suppliers
· Strong integration skills; ability to coordinate all aspects of a project or systems
· Experience with Power BI, Sharepoint, Planview, Devex and Microsoft Office apps

The base pay for this position is
$75,300.00 – $150,700.00
