As a Senior Solutions Delivery Consultant, you will be an experienced practitioner who provides thought leadership in establishing standardization of our consulting services offerings within the Workiva platform. In this role, you will focus on setting the foundation for the CPX (Customer Partner Experience) organization locally in Japan. Strong business acumen and the ability to wear multiple hats will be essential for your success.
You will work closely with other internal teams cross-functionally, including project management, customer success, support, solution engineering, and product development, to deliver outstanding customer implementations across Japan and the APAC region. Your agility will be crucial as you continually learn and lead efforts to scale new solutions and platform capabilities.
Your peers will look to you as a leader, and you will proactively seek opportunities to have a cross-organizational impact. Additionally, you may help develop and mentor others in the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the delivery of Workiva solutions and contracted services to customers and partners
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions to understand business needs and requirements
- Create solution designs that achieve desired outcomes within the Workiva platform
- Interface directly with customers and partners to deliver complex solutions for contracted services
- Collaborate with the sales team on implementation services and solution design discussions with prospects and partners
- Support the partner ecosystem and build partner capabilities
- Contribute to the development of the CPX foundation in Japan by understanding market and customer needs
- Maintain and enhance your knowledge of financial, risk, and operational reporting using the Workiva platform through a commitment to ongoing training
- Successfully guide and mentor peers, assist in the onboarding of new associates, and lead ongoing training efforts
- Develop documentation of Workiva platform best practices for use in implementation standardization
- Perform and review quality assessments of solution configurations
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 2 years of experience
Preferred Experience
- 6+ experience in service delivery role, finance, accounting, audit, or a related field
- Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions and their related technology platforms
- Hands on technical experience with the Workiva platform, other SaaS and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with data architecture schemas preferred
- Senior Consultant level at a services company or public accounting preferred

- Fluent in English and Japanese
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- Capable of developing, training, and mentoring others within the organization.
- Ability to influence and drive change in business processes
- A strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and processes.
- Enhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications. Familiarity with any of the following: SQL, JSON, REST, or Python is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationships
