Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Consultant to join our team at Boomi. You will play a crucial role in supporting moderately complex accounts, managing relationships with customers' technical staff, and providing exceptional solutions tailored to meet their needs. 

Your expertise will contribute to verifying operability, articulating value propositions, and qualifying sales opportunities to drive success for both the customer and Boomi.

What you’ll do:

  • Gain access to and manage relationships with customer technical staff functions to understand their requirements and challenges effectively.
  • Assess and verify approaches/methods to selling Boomi's enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and environment.
  • Articulate the characteristics of the customer's current environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry and market knowledge and identifying opportunities for Boomi's solutions.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and position Boomi's solutions effectively against competitors.
  • Collaborate with other sales engineers, leaders, and cross-functional technical groups to ensure a consistent and effective approach to solution application and development.
  • Qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer technical requirements, decision-making processes, and funding availability. Present the design, value proposition, and business case of proposed solutions to customers, prospects, and management.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to achieve desired results and meet customer needs effectively.
  • Explain where Boomi's products and services fit into the customer's IT structure, leveraging strong knowledge of our business model and articulating its impact and advantages.
  • Stay updated with fact-based industry knowledge to provide informed insights and solutions to customers.

The Experience you bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • 5+ years of client-facing experience with a strong technical aptitude and presentation skills, and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Additional 2+ years of field sales experience preferred.
  • Able to fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft, Google Suite, Zoom, and other common IT tools used today (Slack, CRMs, ERPs, etc.)
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortability presenting to a wide variety of audiences both in level of responsibility and technical acumen
  • A natural passion for problem-solving and a curiosity to understand how things work
  • Innovative desire to build solutions to business and technical problems
  • Ability to work independently but at the same time collaboratively within your team and cross-functionally
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand, design and implement system architectures that are relevant in modern enterprise environments
